Seeing the unseen,
Hearing the unheard,
Reaching the unreached in Thailand!
We had been serving at Faith Academy in Manila since 2006, helping to provide a quality education to the children of missionaries and serving Filipinos. In 2013, however, God began to work in us and call us to something new. After two years of praying and seeking God’s direction, Heather and I have obeyed God’s call for us to transition away from ministry in the Philippines to a Church Planting Ministry in Thailand.
For Heather, the journey began in January 2013 when she heard God tell her that our family would be moving to Thailand after our next furlough. For Anthony, the journey began in the Spring of 2013 as God began stirring his “nest” and allowing him to feel unsettled in ministry at Faith. God began to lay church planting on his heart and challenged him with the question of how he could use technology in church planting.
We have now been settled in Chiang Mai, Thailand for language acquisition and cultural orientation. We opted to settle here initially for language study because Chiang Mai is home to Grace International School. Grace would give our David and Robert the opportunity for a high quality education as they finish their schooling. After our furlough in 2021, we will be relocating to another area of Thailand, either to Mae Sai to minister among the Shan people or to the East to minister among the Isaan tribe.
While learning language and culture, Anthony is volunteering with The Family Connection Foundation. Heather is studying Thai, engaging female singles, and caring for our Robert and Timothy. We are both seeking opportunities to connect with and build friendships with Thai people.
Our vision is to engage Thai nationals with the Gospel.
